Communications trust infrastructure

The best call is the one that never reaches you.

Sekunce is the engineering discipline underneath modern voice networks — an inline, real-time decisioning engine that intercepts, scores, routes and protects traffic before a call ever completes.

The Core

Not a feature vendor. The engineering discipline underneath the category.

The problem we saw before the market did

Three unsolved gaps. Most vendors solve exactly one.

Telecom is our foundational discipline — Shield as flagship, IMS/IBCF and RouteIQ as the pipeline. Enterprise carries the same engine to line-of-business buyers as Shield Lite, sold entirely through channel and integration partners.

Network layer

Trust

Fraud, spoofing and unauthenticated traffic exploit the gap between call arrival and authentication — the window most vendors never touch.

Enterprise layer

Flexibility

CPaaS and UC platforms lock developers into vendor SDKs and unpredictable pricing instead of open, inline control.

Conversation layer

Privacy

Encryption is treated as a configurable add-on rather than foundational architecture — until the conversation itself needs protecting.

The engineering asset is the substrate common to all three: an inline, real-time decisioning engine that intercepts, scores, routes and encrypts communications traffic before it completes — sub-100 milliseconds, at carrier scale.

Who we are

Engineering the
infrastructure of trust.

Sekunce is built on three decades of carrier-grade telecom, UCC, VoIP and WebRTC engineering. Our leadership is credited with building the first commercial soft-switches and a mobile video calling application that predated FaceTime — the same lineage that produced a VoIP fraud detection solution now in production with a Tier 1 financial services institution in North America and a carrier in the United Kingdom.

“Stop the call before it connects.”

Inline SIP B2BUA for telecom operators, wholesale carriers and VoIP providers. Every call is scored 0 to 999 before a SIP 200 OK is ever sent — international revenue share, wangiri and SIM-box patterns are tested against a reputation index of more than 40 million prefixes, with STIR/SHAKEN A/B/C attestation on every leg.

RouteIQ

“Decide. Prove. Settle. Then let AutoPilot find the margin you never knew you left behind.”

Autonomous routing and margin intelligence for wholesale voice. The routing decision moves out of the call path into a build that runs ahead of time — off the switch entirely, with the full traffic and rate history in scope.

  • Nine platform modules end to end — routing, plans, toll-free, numbering, billing, reconciliation, trust, governance, observability
  • 90+ attributed fields on every call record, so routing and money sit in one ledger
  • Full replay — any past decision reconstructed exactly, months later
  • On-premise, private cloud or sovereign region — air-gap capable, no data egress
Target buyers

Wholesale carriers, LCR and routing teams, wholesale voice operators.

Four moves, one platform
  • 01Decide

The routing decision leaves the switch and becomes a build. Minutes of budget instead of microseconds, with the full traffic and rate history in scope.

  • 02Prove

Every decision is resolved to the margin it actually produced, and any past decision can be reconstructed exactly, months later.

  • 03Settle

Rating, billing and reconciliation are modules of the same platform, not a second system to reconcile against.

  • thenAutoPilot

A counterfactual engine that finds margin on the trunks where a proven rule was never applied.

Voice security

Sentinel

The voice challenge gateway.

Sentinel answers in early media and issues a liveness challenge across three modalities — keypad, speech, or TTY/TDD — then routes or rejects on the result. The goal is not to out-puzzle an automated voice agent; it is to make every attempt cost something.

<4sTypical challenge
1 in 10KBlind-guess rate
  • Every caller proves they are human — by pressing, speaking or typing
  • Four outcomes — pass, fail, unable, escape — so a caller who structurally could not complete is never recorded as fraud
  • The TTY branch closes an accessibility gap the industry has ignored for twenty years
  • A single self-contained system — no cloud, no daemon, no data leaving the estate
Network security

AirBlock

Nothing on the wire.

A secure overlay for air-gapped and compartmented networks. Encryption hides what you say. AirBlock hides that you said it, who you said it to, and when.

  • In compartmented networks the metadata is the secret — need-to-know is a policy about who talks to whom, and a system that leaks the communication graph breaks it
  • Every VPN on the market protects the message. None of them protect the fact of the message
  • Applications run unmodified
  • Built for defence, government, carrier and critical infrastructure

RouteIQ · the flagship capability

AutoPilot finds the margin you never knew you left behind.

A routing rule earns on the four trunks where it was switched on. Nobody asks what it would have earned on the other forty, because answering that means comparing a trunk to a version of itself that never existed. AutoPilot asks it continuously, for every rule, across the whole estate.

COMPILE TIME · ROUTEIQ CALL TIME · THE DATA PLANE minutes ~200 µs Decision budget per build, off the call path Per call, shared with TLS and transcoding Quality and margin models on every route Counterfactual analysis of decisions never taken Full replay of any decision, months later Load the file, walk one ordered list Never re-evaluate a directive Overlay only what genuinely changes intraday ROUTE PLAN
The same network and the same latency — with a decision that is allowed to be a thousand times better informed.
Isolate, do not observe

A trunk that got the rule and earns more may simply have better traffic. Treated trunks are paired with untreated trunks of similar traffic signature; the difference between matched pairs is the estimate, and everything else is noise.

It proposes, a human approves

AutoPilot writes a draft. It cannot activate a route plan or publish a build. Approval requires a second person, enforced in the database rather than in the interface, and every change ships with a retained rollback target.

Scored on its own accuracy

Every published change leaves a live control group untreated, so realised uplift is measured against a holdout rather than against last month. Where the estimate is thin, it is reported as thin — never padded into the list.

Uplift modelling with matched controls and holdouts is standard practice in clinical trials and in pricing science. It has simply never been applied to a routing estate before.

How we go to market.

We build the product. Our partners bring it to their customers.

Telecom

A dual motion

We engage carriers directly, and alongside the equipment vendors and integrators already inside their networks. The platform sits above the switch rather than replacing it, so a partner never has to argue for a rip-and-replace to bring us in.

Enterprise

Indirect, end to end

Shield Lite is sold entirely through channel. The partner owns the relationship, the commercial terms and the first line of support. We stay behind them, and we do not compete with them for the account.

Who we partner with

Network equipment providers

Screening embedded in the operator's own equipment stack, reaching national networks that a direct motion would never open on its own.

Global system integrators

The platform carried into transformation programmes already running inside Tier 1 operators, on the integrator's paper and inside their delivery model.

Contact centre and UC platforms

Shield Lite deploys ahead of the platform rather than inside it — no change to the agent desktop, the IVR or the dialplan, and no contention over the seat licence.

Complementary technology

Voice biometrics and synthetic-speech detection act on audio after a call is answered. We decide before it exists. The two compose rather than compete.

Regional and licensed partners

Where a market requires a locally licensed operator, the partner holds the licence and the customer relationship while the platform stays single and shared.

Embedded and OEM

Pre-connect screening licensed in as a module that returns block, quarantine or pass before the partner's own product is engaged.

01

Decisions inline, not after the fact

Scoring and routing happen in the same sub-100ms pass. Fraud is stopped before the call connects, not reconciled after settlement.

02

Deployed inside your perimeter

Bare metal, virtual machine, hybrid, or entirely inside your own cloud account. Data sovereignty is a configuration, not an exception request.

03

Scale without per-seat economics

510 calls per second on two virtual cores, measured with full record generation, scaling horizontally to millions of calls. Growth in traffic does not become growth in licence cost.

04

Nothing to rip out

It sits inline alongside what you already run, with no change to agent desktops, IVRs or core systems, and policy stays operator-tunable. You own your data and your decisions.
